Terms & Conditions for AHCKL Virtual Auction

 

  1. In order to participate in the bidding, each attendee must agree to the rules and regulations presented below. By submitting this form, you are stating that you agree with the silent auction Terms and Conditions. By placing a bid on an item, each bidder agrees to these auction rules.
  2. Phase one of the auction will run from 1200 on Friday 2nd July 2021 to 1200 on Wednesday 7th July 2021. We will readvertise the auction with the highest bidding price from 1800 Wednesday until 1500 Friday 9th July.
  3. The highest bid will be deemed to be the winner. In the extreme case of where an entry error has occurred, please contact us to retract your bid. If this occurs, we reserve the right to offer the item to the second highest bidder.
  4. The decision of the winners is that of Australian High Commission Kuala Lumpur and its Public Affairs team and will be final.
  5. By placing a bid, you are entering into an agreement to purchase the item at the offered price.
  6. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds. All items are “as is.”
  7. The bidders will have to provide proof of payment to the Fugee School in order to redeem their items.
  8. Following receipt of payments, all items are to be collected from Australian High Commission Kuala Lumpur or can be delivered within the Klang Valley if agreed via email in advance. Please contact us in advance to confirm this is possible.
  9. Australian High Commission Kuala Lumpur has undertaken best efforts to describe items accurately, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the accuracy of descriptions, authenticity, or condition of the items.
  10. Items have not been value appraised unless otherwise noted. The amount you pay is normally tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser to clarify the deductable amount.
  11. All items will be sold only above the minimum asking bid and proceeds will go to the Fugee School.
  12. Australian High Commission Kuala Lumpur reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction.
  13. Australian High Commission Kuala Lumpur, their appointed officials, members and employees, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction cannot be held responsible or liable for any risks or hazards related to the items won at the auction.
  14. Only bids received by the Google form will be deemed to be valid.
