Department of Education and Training

The Commonwealth Department of Education and Training provides leadership and coordination across government, delivering programs and policies, to support student mobility and the global exchange of knowledge. The department works with the education sector, other government agencies and ministries to ensure Australia is recognised as a regional and world leader in education and a partner of choice for international collaboration. The Department\'s office in Malaysia is managed by the Counsellor (Education and Science) located within the Australian High Commission.

Endeavour Leadership Program

The Endeavour Leadership Program provides an internationally competitive program for international citizens from eligible countries to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia. MACC scholarships

The Malaysia Australia Alumni Council (MACC) Scholarships provide Malaysian and Australian students the opportunity to experience diverse cultures and new lifestyle through sponsored education.

Malaysian Public Services Department (JPA) recognition of Australian qualifications

The Malaysian Public Service Department (Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam or JPA) recognises Australian qualifications in arts, social sciences and general science programs subject to the following criteria:

• Recognition for undergraduate program that ran on fulltime basis at a particular university
• Recognition does not involve undergraduate degree that ran as double degree or multidiscipline degree.
• Professional programs/qualifications are subject to evaluations of the relevant professional bodies in Malaysia.
• Recognised Program/courses listed on the CRICOS website.
